Are you an experienced RN with Anaesthetic & PACU experience, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care?

We are currently expanding our team and are looking for RNs who want to join our collaborative Anaesthetic & PACU team on a full-time basis.

As an experienced RN in Anaesthetics/PACU, your role will include:

  • Deliver evidence-based care
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensure patient and staff safety
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health journey
  • Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
  • Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
  • Led successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • 2 years’ RN experience in Anaesthetics/PACU Nursing with experience in one of the following specialties: Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Urology, OR ENT surgery
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work well independently and within a team
  • High level organisational skills to meet time constraints
  • Strong clinical skillset
  • Demonstrate the ability to show initiative Excellent communication skills
