General Practice Nurse

Wynter Street Medical Centre is looking for a friendly, professional and motivated practice nurse to join our busy medical practice.

We are an established privately owned practice with a strong focus on patient care. 

The applicant will be required to work independently at times, work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate commitment to working hard.

The applicant must be able to provide full nursing support to our doctors. 

The position description includes but is not limited to:

• Triage
• Wound management
• Immunisations
• Spirometry
• Audiometry
• ECG
• Health assessments
• Chronic Disease Health Checks
• Work Place Medicals
• Assist with clinical procedures including excisions
• Infection control
• Sterilising
• Result recalls
• Patient reminders and recalls
• Cold chain management
• Stock management and ordering

The successful applicant’s pay scale will depend on previous experience and qualifications. An excellent opportunity for a New Graduate Nurse to gain valuable hands on experience but all levels of experience welcome.
