This DWS registered, Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-award-winning health and wellbeing organisation delivers a holistic, whole-of-person model of care to all people. Indigenous and non-lndigenous, across Bundaberg and North Burnett regions in Central Queensland.

About The Role:
This organisation has an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join their established team. This position will be based in Bundaberg and will rotate between the Gayndah Practice.
When on rotation in Gayndah, you will work a 4-day week, with travel time between Bundaberg and Gayndah included. You will receive a location allowance as well as meal and incidental allowances. Accommodation and a vehicle will be provided if required.
 
Skills & Experience: 

  • 3 year experience as a General Practitioner is preferred.*
  • AHPRA Registration
  • ACCRM or â€‹RACGP Fellowship

*​Doctors on training pathways requiring minimal supervision may be considered.

Salary Package:                 
Your Salary Package is made up of the following: -

  • Salary Sacrifice Packaging valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding approximately $7,500 to your take home pay per annum.
  • Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum.
  • 9-Day Fortnight (for full-time employees).
  • 4-Day work week when rostered in Gayndah.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Percentage of Earnings – between 65% and 75% when exceeding KPI targets.
  • 5 Weeks Annual Leave.
  • CPD Allowance - $2,000 to $3,000 per annum.
  • Professional Development Leave - 1 week per annum.
  • Paid Professional Memberships and Registrations.
  • Superannuation valued at 10.5%.
  • Case conferencing/ multidisciplinary reviews and case discussions.
  • Relocation allowance (if applicable).

At the Southern end of the Great Barrier Reef Bundaberg is located 385km north of Brisbane. With a population over 93,000, Bundaberg has more to offer than may initially meet the eye. About Gayndah:
Gayndah lays claim to being one of the oldest towns in Australia, founded in 1849 maintaining its old fashioned charm today. Several buildings have been heritage listed including Mellors Drapery (one of the few buildings in Australia which still uses a flying fox to deal with transactions), old section of the State School, Gayndah Soldier's Memorial Hall (Town Hall and Council Chambers), Racecourse and several rail bridges.
Gayndah is famous for it's biennial Orange Festival which is a celebration of the abundant citrus produce which comes from the region. Among the many historical points of interest, the Gayndah Art Gallery, Gayndah Museum with it's extensive display dedicated to the Queensland Lungfish (or Ceratodus)Archers Lookout and the town clock are all worth a mention.
