Medical Secretary/Receptionist.

Part-time medical receptionist 2-3 days/week.

Are you wanting to make a real difference to families with young children and adolescents in a small, relaxed local clinic environment.

We are looking for permanent part-time administration support for a paediatric clinic with two part-time paediatricians.

Work will include booking appointments, answering phone calls and returning messages, email enquiries, typing  as well as some patient contact.Doctors are part-time and non consulting every day so there will be time to catch up on administrative tasks quietly.

Training will be provided on site with our lovely very experienced current paediatric secretary who would like to reduce to two days/week once the new employee is confident in their skills and feels settled in.

We welcome applicants returning to the workforce after having a family or looking for a career change.

Excellent communication skills with families, carers, patients, health and education professionals will be very important.

Knowledge of zedmed clinical software would be helpful(but can be taught) as would ability to audiotype.
