Roles & Responsibilities:

They are looking for Occupational Therapists to handle a vast variety of patient conditions and patient streams. With a strong NDIS focus, this will be a challenging and rewarding role for the right person, expanding their knowledge and skill set in their area of interest.
As an Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for:
- The paediatric role involves providing NDIS & Disability assessments and intervention and therapies, both in a clinic and a community/ home setting. You will provide education and make recommendations to parents, carers, educators etc, and provide written reports
- The adult client-based role involves providing functional needs and capacity and wellbeing assessments, intervention and written reports. You will develop treatment plans, set goals and make recommendations, including home modifications. This role will also involve seeing clients in a clinic and community/home setting
- Provide therapy to clients in their home environment or local community
- Observing clients perform their daily tasks in a community setting
- Working with clients to develop a suitable and realistic treatment plan
- Skill building, housing modifications, report writing, and many other diverse cases to use all your OT skills
- Provide education and recommendations to clients and carers
- Display patience and able to effectively communicate with clients and build rapport

Essential Criteria:
- Full Registration with AHPRA
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Must provide Working With Children Check & National police Check
- Ability to work in Australia
- Ability to build rapport with our clients and team
- Strong communication skills
- Current driver’s license and own vehicle are essential
