Role Description
This is a full-time role (optional part-time if desired) for an experienced and confident Occupational Therapist at Holistic Care Aus. As a growing company, Holstic Care Aus is needing and experienced Occupational therapist that is eager and willing to lead others, mentor and contribute to the overall success of the team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing personalised care to clients, as well as a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing therapy services to individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions. The role will involve assessing clients' needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions to help improve their daily functioning and quality of life.
This is a hybrid role based in Penrith, NSW, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Valid license or registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- 2+ years experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community setting.
- Demonstrated experience in providing therapy services to individuals with diverse needs and conditions
- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and interventions
- Ability to assess clients' needs and develop individualised treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and practices in occupational therapy
