Occupational Therapist

Role Description
This is a sub-contractor role for an Occupational Therapist. As an Occupational Therapist at Pop-Up Therapy, you will be responsible for providing mobile therapeutic services to children and young people. Work with children and young people at home, school or their early childhood centre. Join a small team of passionate therapists and a company with a strong focus on manageable caseloads to ensure a high quality of care and time to focus on your clients, families, and professional learning.
Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting comprehensive assessments of NDIS participants (considering their individual needs and goals), developing and implementing intervention plans, collaborating with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals, travel within the community (homes, schools, early childhood settings) and provision of evidence-based occupational therapy support. This role requires strong communication and organisation skills, as well as the ability to work independently.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Registration with AHPRA
- Australian driver's license
- Own vehicle
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work autonomously from home
