About us

Grow With Me Occupational Therapy (OT) is a mobile paediatric Occupational Therapy service. 

While our therapists are located across Southeast Melbourne and Gippsland, we are committed to providing quality services in rural and regional areas of Victoria where there are often less supports available to children and families with additional needs. 

Our Occupational Therapists travel to families at home, school or kindergarten to assess and provide therapy services to children aged 0-18. Our caseload consists of mostly children with Autism Spectrum Disorder with NDIS funding so experience in this area is highly regarded. 

The role

We are looking for a mobile paediatric OT from South East Melbourne or Gippsland to service families in the Gippsland region (our services are provided in Pakenham, Bunyip, Traralgon, Leongatha, Wonthaggi and in-between, but our biggest waitlisted area right now is in Drouin, Warragul and the Latrobe Valley) in either a part-time or full time capacity, or as a contractor.

We would ideally like someone who can do 1-4 days in Gippsland per week (ongoing), with notes, reports and admin done on a separate day from home (approximately 2-3 hours per day spent on the road).

All travel is fully reimbursed at a generous rate. Our therapists ideally spend the day seeing 4-5 clients. 

On offer:

-Very attractive hourly rate (well above award) based on experience. Yearly pay reviews and regular coaching. 

-Admin support provided through practice manager and director.

-Alternating 1:1 clinical supervision and team/peer supervision, weekly. 

-Team social catchups each term, plus Xmas parties, etc.

-Weekend work not required. School holiday work is negotiable (take on more or less hours as we run our group programs). 3-4 week shut down over Xmas/ New Year. 

-Help set up and run group programs during school holidays. We currently offer Social Skills programs and are expanding to special interests, emotional reg, exec functioning, etc and are looking at term-based programs as well.

We are looking for someone who will be committed to the role ongoing and a team player. We are a small team who offer peer supervision to one another based on our differing experience and expertise as well as regular scheduled external supervision. Therapists with varying levels of experience welcome to apply but a high degree of autonomy is required within the role.
