Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Canobolas Kids Health (CKH) is looking for a passionate occupational therapist to join our team, full time and part time opportunities available. Experience working in the paediatric field is desired, however new graduates are welcome to apply. Extensive mentoring and supervision with our senior OT, team development and PD opportunities provided. CKH is a multidisciplinary paediatric therapy service located in Orange, NSW. Our skilled team of physiotherapists and occupational therapists work with children from birth to 18 years.
Supporting and empowering children and their families to achieve their goals is important to us. It is our mission to make a big difference in small people. Our client base is diverse, and often includes babies and toddlers with developmental delays, children with concerns with play, self-care, regulation, sensory processing, fine motor skill development and school readiness, as well as children and adolescents with neurodiverse diagnoses, physical disabilities and equipment requirements.

The right candidate will:
- Have a recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
- Hold a current registration with AHPRA
- Hold a current Working with Children Check
- Have experience in assessment and therapy for children from birth to 18 years, for a diverse range of conditions. These skills may be broad ranging or more specialised and age specific.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, keep clinical notes up to date and communicate regularly with the clients healthcare team.
- Work collaboratively with children and their families to develop meaningful goals and therapy plans to achieve occupational challenges.
- Have some experience or be interested in trialling and recommending Assistive Technology and completing AT reports for the NDIS.
