Part Time Occupational Therapist

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Occupational Therapist driving assessor at idrivesafety. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing therapy and rehabilitation services to individuals who are undergoing driver education. Your day-to-day tasks will include assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and monitoring progress. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work with clients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation skills ODTA
• Experience working with clients in a medical or healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques
• Ability to create and implement individualized treatment plans
• Experience with assistive devices and adaptive equipment
• Experience working with individuals with neurodiverse conditions is a plus
• Knowledge of NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) guidelines and requirements
• Familiarity with hazard perception training for learner permit holders is a plus
