Physiotherapist - Paediatric

About the role

• Full time and/or part time role available. 
• Work as part of a collaborative team alongside Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Specialist Educators and Family Workers.
• Join our experienced team of Physiotherapists
• Be supported by an experienced administration and finance team
• Based at Mayfield and supporting families in the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens Region

Duties

• Provide Physiotherapy support for children aged 0-12 years and their families
• Provide community based supports – home, early childhood education setting, school, pool, park etc.
• Support children with a range of disabilities including autism, developmental delay, chromosomal disorders and genetic conditions
• Providing a full range of physiotherapy supports including undertaking assessments

Qualifications and experience

• A Degree in Physiotherapy
• Working with Children’s Check
• NDIS Worker Check
• Drivers licence and use of own comprehensively insured, reliable car
• AHPRA registration 
• First Aid Certificate (including anaphylaxis and asthma)
• Experience with paediatrics is desirable, however we can provide the training and support required for a physio looking to transition to paediatrics from another speciality.
