Physio Sports & Performance, located inside the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre at Oaklands Park, SA, provides sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and exercise rehab services to clients of all levels of sport and all ages. We have some of the best facilities for sports physiotherapy in South Australia - our own Pilates / rehab studio, plus access to pools and gyms of the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre. With a focus on client goals and personalized care, our team uses written plans, effective hands-on treatment, supervised gym rehabilitation, app-based exercise programs, and collaborate with other professionals for better results.

Role Description

This is a full-time Physiotherapist role (but can be part-time if that fits your needs) in a private practice setting . As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy services to active clients. This includes conducting assessments and screenings, developing treatment plans, delivering hands-on treatments, supervising individual and group rehabilitation sessions, and providing support and advice to help clients stay active. You will have opportunities to be involved in our sports physiotherapy services to affiliated clubs and programs.

Qualifications

• Full registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
• Current First Aid, CPR, Working with Children Check

Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge and experience in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy
• Keen interest in sports, with some experience working with clients of all levels of sport and all ages
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Proficiency in delivering hands-on treatments and supervising gym rehabilitation sessions
• Knowledge of app-based exercise programs and their integration into treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for helping clients achieve their sport and life goals
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest research and techniques
