Practice Information:
This small paediatric private practice was established in 2022 and is located in Mount Isa, QLD. The practice has an exciting opportunity for an early career speech pathologist or experienced clinician ready to explore a part-time or full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete assessments and deliver evidence-based, client-driven intervention to the paediatric population
  • Manage your day-to-day client caseload to support positive outcomes
  • Provide accurate, timely and high-quality reports and maintain accurate documentation of client progress
  • Participate in continuing professional development
  • Offer guidance and support to families and/or education facilities on strategies for facilitating communication and language development at home/in the community
  • Develop relationships within the community and liaise with other stakeholders to provide holistic care

What will you require?

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligibility to apply)
  • Drivers licence and access to a car
  • Current Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain this)
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in providing assessment and intervention to children and adolescents
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Flexible mind set and adaptability

Job Type:  Full Time or Part Time Permanent position on offer.

After Hours Requirements:  No

Salary Information:  $105,000 - $120,000 per annum.
