About the Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has come about for VR and Non-VR GPs who are no longer bound by the moratorium to join a very busy bulk billing practice in the Beerwah area on the Sunshine Coast. Absolutely no weekend or evening work will be required as consulting times are from Monday to Friday during standard business hours. Located in a beautiful green area at the bottom of the Glasshouse Mountains, the practice has a solid reputation for quality healthcare and a very low staff turnover rate. Range of services offered here include women and men's health, the management of chronic and respiratory conditions,  general health assessments for patients who are 75+ and/or those who are at risk of developing diabetes, childhood and travel vaccinations, and general family medicine. All consult rooms have windows with 1 - 2 nurses on duty per shift. Two of their team members are leaving the practice very soon so full patient books with a full waiting room awaits! Non-VR GPs who are pursuing their fellowship on the PEP or ACCRM are encouraged to apply as comprehensive training and support is available to doctors working on training programs. 

Essential Criteria:

• MBBS or equivalent
• Must have a current and valid AHPRA GENERAL /SPECIALIST registration
• FRACGP qualified
• Good Team Player
