Are you searching for a physio role that brings you joy and helps you make a meaningful contribution to the lives of your clients? Then look no further!

The Physio Co (TPC) are seeking fully registered physiotherapists to join our team in:

  • Melbourne West
  • Melbourne North

On a Full Time or Part Time (minimum 3 days) basis.

This mobile community role is focused on helping our senior clients to rediscover the joy of movement, improve their confidence, and achieve personal health goals that are meaningful to them.

WHO WE ARE:

We are The Physio Co and our goal is simple: To keep seniors mobile, safe and happy.

We are a well-established team of physiotherapists; every week we visit hundreds of Aussie seniors in their own homes across Melbourne, Geelong, New South Wales and Adelaide!

We live and breath our core values: Think Big, Act Small | Find a Better Way | Respect Everyone | Be Memorable.

While our physios all work remotely, we are a close-knit team that connects and supports each other on a daily basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will work as a mobile physiotherapist to deliver meaningful goal plans to our senior clients (65+) within the community.

Responsibilities

At TPC no two days are the same. Your caseload will be varied and you will be helping seniors wherever they call home; mostly in the community with occasional visits to retirement villages and aged care facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct memorable, comprehensive assessments and identify what is important to your client
  • Develop meaningful goal plans in collaboration with the client (our goal is to have our seniors smash over 2M goals by 2028!)
  • Provide targeted, client-centered therapy
  • Celebrate with clients once they achieve their goal
  • Liaise with clients, families, carers, case managers and health professionals to ensure everyone is up to date on progress.

SKILLS / COMPLIANCE NEEDED

  • Physiotherapy Degree
  • Full AHPRA Registration
  • Valid 'Aged Care' police check
  • Valid Drivers licence
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Flu Vaccination
  • To be resourceful - using the environment around you to help with your treatment.
  • Ability to build rapport with our clients and team
  • Strong communication skills/high empathy
  • Ability to have fun and be a part of a close-knit team!

What we provide you:

  • Travel and device reimbursements
  • Up to 2 weeks of shadowing another TPCer when you first start
  • Your very own Team Leader to support you every step of the way
  • A TPC buddy for 3-6 months
  • Weekly coaching for 12 months
  • A rhythm of connecting with other TPCers on a daily / weekly / monthly/ yearly basis- you will never feel alone!
  • Subsidy support for external training
  • Room in your week for self development
  • On-Demand educational resources on our internal website
  • Autonomy of your calendar
