The role
We are seeking an experienced senior NDIS Occupational Therapist who can work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver client outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assess adult NDIS clients with a diverse range of acute and chronic health conditions relating to physical, cognitive or sensory impairment
- Develop and implement effective therapy and rehabilitation programs to assist your clients in working toward their individual goals
- Script Assistive Technology applications including mobility, seating, electronic assistive technology
- Assess, review and report on simple and complex home modifications
- Produce quality reports for submission to funding bodies
- Ensure the effective, safe delivery of client care in clinic or in home
- Supporting less experienced OT team members with supervision and mentoring in clinical excellence
- Be motivated to learn and develop your skillset, participating in CPD and multi-disciplinary clinical review meetings
- Adhere to clinical guidelines and implement evidence-based practices tailored to each client’s needs to ensure the provision of quality services

What you'll need
- Formal qualifications in Occupational Therapy
- Experience in NDIS service delivery
- Registration with APHRA
- Current Police Check
- Current Driver’s License
- Valid Blue Card
- Valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
- Evidence of your right to work in Australia
- Ability to work independently
- Polished communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills
- High-level clinical skills and reasoning
- Accurate and articulate documentation and report writing abilities
