Occupational Therapist

Home Physio Melbourne is a rapidly-expanding mobile multi-disciplinary, allied health service run by 15 of Melbourne's top physiotherapists, 5 exercise physiologists, 1 allied health assistant and 2 administrative support staff.

We provide home-visits all over Melbourne, including the CBD and surrounding suburbs. We are looking for a highly-motivated, passionate and organised Occupational Therapist, to help join our expanding team. You will have the support of a Senior OT, with over 25 years of experience for weekly supervision.

We are a vibrant team of individuals, who are extremely passionate about working within the private, aged-care and disability sectors. We love what we do, give our clients the respect they deserve, and take pride in helping them achieve their goals.

About the role

You will be required to provide expert assessment and management of our private patients, NDIS participants, and home package funded patients.

We require you to have the following skills:

• Ability to complete evidence-based functional assessments, to increase the safety and quality of life for clients
• Assessment and prescription of assistive technology and home modifications
• Completion of funding applications to relevant bodies such as SWEP, NDIS or via HCP’s.
• writing detailed NDIS reports
• liaising with other health professionals
