Psychologist

We are seeking a psychologist with an interest in both clinical and forensic work to join a small and supportive private practice setting. The role will involve a manageable workload consisting of individual treatment, group therapy facilitation, assessments for court and other purposes, and research. Clients of Inside Psychology are largely adult, with some scope for adolescent treatment. Full-time and part-time applications are to be considered, with a combination of in-person and telehealth services encouraged. Full administrative support, supervision, facilities, and equipment are provided.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and empathic psychologist to join our team. We are happy for the right candidate to design the role as suits them, and to select a balance of the following responsibilities that best suits them:

• Working with a diverse client base to provide high quality, evidence-based therapeutic treatment. This includes treatment of both clinical presentations, and offending behaviours
• The provision of diagnostic assessments and reports
• Co-facilitation of group therapy programs
• Involvement in some forensic research practice (if this is of interest to the applicant)

Qualifications

Essential

• AHPRA registration as a general psychologist

Desired

• Area of practice endorsement in a relevant area (such as clinical or forensic)
